A popular cake for birthdays and, basically any excuse that Danes can think of, Lagkage is a traditional cake made with a combination of 3 layers (minimum) of soft sponge, spread with Raspberry Jam, filled in between with Pastry Cream and Strawberries. This is all topped off with whipped cream and even more Strawberries.
